SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

As part of the   project of the Foundation, we currently have thirty indigent disabled students under scholarship from primary to tertiary institutions.

RADIO PROGRAM

​

In addition to scholarship scheme, the Foundation has an existing live radio program titled Akanda Ogo meaning "Special Glory in Disability" on FRCN Station Radio 1 (Choice FM 103.5). The program is aired on Wednesdays from 5pm to 5.30pm.

In December 2012 at the thanksgiving service to mark the birth of the Foundation held at Church of the Pentecost, Anglican Communion, 21 Road, FESTAC, Lagos, Hope and life for Disabled Persons   Foundation gave scholarship to additional 10 indigent disabled children from different special schools in Lagos and Ogun States.

The program focuses on the life of persons living with disability, celebrates their achievements despite the challenges and discourages street begging. The program is also meant to encourage some parents who keep their disabled children indoors that there is hope for such child.

LIFE SUPPORT

 

 

On August 18th 2013, our activities among which was the presentation of a wheel chair to  a six year old Mayowa Olajumoke,  a visually impaired child, were reported by Daily Independent, a popular tabloid in Nigeria.

SEMINARS & LECTURES

The Foundation organizes periodic seminars and lectures on the state of health to ensure that persons with disability have relative information and awareness on their right to good health in the country.
